Your own world of fear and negativity undeniably keeps you from pushing yourself to a better path and reaching your goals and dreams. Every emotion is caused by a thought first. You are constantly thinking thoughts that create chemical reactions in your brain that, in turn, affect the way that you behave.Â
Once you have a thought—conscious or subconscious— it creates an emotional reaction that lasts only 90 seconds. Which means you have a minute and a half to choose—continue thinking thoughts that perpetuate your current emotion or choose a new thought altogether. When you choose a more positive thought, it will trigger a different set of emotions and viola! You are back in control!Â
